These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Metal Group Recycling website and to enquiries and services arranged with Metal Group Recycling Pty Ltd (ABN 38 677 816 965). By using the website or asking us for a quote or collection, you agree to these terms.

Quotes and service arrangements
Quotes, availability and pickup arrangements depend on the information available at the time, including the material type, condition, approximate quantity, photographs, pickup suburb, site access, current market conditions and any legal or safety requirements. A quote is not a commitment to collect until we confirm the arrangement with you.
We may revise or withdraw a quote where information provided was incomplete or inaccurate, the material differs materially from what was described, or conditions affecting collection have changed. We will discuss material changes with you before completing a transaction.
Mobile collection service
Metal Group Recycling is a mobile, service-area business. We do not operate a public customer drop-off facility. Collections are by arrangement. We may decline, reschedule or change a collection where access is unsafe, the material cannot lawfully be accepted, or the collection was not arranged with us.
Your responsibilities
When you contact or transact with us, you are responsible for providing accurate details and ensuring that:
- you have the right to sell, dispose of or authorise collection of the material;
- any photographs, material descriptions and access details are accurate;
- the collection location is reasonably safe and accessible; and
- you tell us about relevant hazards, restrictions or access requirements before collection.
Identification and transaction records
We require valid photo identification for transactions. We may also request proof of ownership, vehicle documents or other information where appropriate. We may refuse or delay a transaction where we cannot reasonably verify identity, ownership or applicable legal requirements.
Payments
Where a transaction is agreed and completed, payment is generally made by electronic funds transfer (EFT). The amount, method and timing of payment will be confirmed for the specific transaction. We do not guarantee payment until required verification and transaction checks have been completed.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
Website use and intellectual property
